WatchGuard「Fireware OS」に複数脆弱性 - 7件がクリティカル
冗長化機能「FireCluster」の同期サービスでは、認証処理が欠落している脆弱性「CVE-2026-93865」が判明した。クラスタの管理IPアドレスに細工したリクエストを送信できる場合、認証なしで高い権限が必要となるシステムの管理操作を実行されるおそれがある。
「Active Directory」の認証処理では、ヒープベースのバッファオーバーフローの脆弱性「CVE-2026-112709」「CVE-2026-112710」が判明。不正な応答を返すことでサービス拒否を引き起こしたり、任意のコードを実行したりするおそれがある。
このほか、ウェブ経由のアクセス機能「Access Portal」のWebSocket接続処理において、認証なしで域外メモリへの書き込みを引き起こせる「CVE-2026-93866」なども修正された。
また「SSH」の認証処理において、認証なしで機密性の高い設定情報を取得されるおそれがある「CVE-2026-93434」をはじめ、重要度が「高（High）」とされる脆弱性7件や、「中（Medium）」とされる3件の脆弱性などが判明している。
脆弱性によって影響を受けるバージョンや必要な構成は異なるが、同社はこれら脆弱性へ対処した「Fireware OS 2026.4」「同12.12.4」「同12.5.22」を公開。利用者にアップデートを呼びかけている。
