WatchGuard「Fireware OS」に複数脆弱性 - 7件がクリティカル
WatchGuard Technologiesのファイアウォール製品「Firebox」で使用される「Fireware OS」に脆弱性が判明した。深刻な脆弱性も複数含まれており、同社はセキュリティアップデートを提供している。
同社は現地時間2026年10月27日、セキュリティアドバイザリを公開。CVEベースで17件の脆弱性を明らかにした。アドバイザリの公開時点で悪用は確認されていない。重要度を見ると、4段階中もっとも高い「クリティカル（Critical）」とされる脆弱性が7件にのぼる。
「CVE-2026-103594」は、「WireGuard」の設定処理に存在するバッファオーバーフローの脆弱性。サービス拒否や任意のコード実行につながるおそれがある。ただし、「FireCloud Gateway」として構成されており、「WatchGuard Cloud」との「TLS通信」を復号、改ざんできることが条件とされる。
共通脆弱性評価システム「CVSSv4.0」のベーススコアは、今回公表された脆弱性のなかでもっとも高く、「9.5」と評価される。また別の脆弱性6件については、CVSS基本値が「9.2」や「9.1」と評価されている。
「CVE-2026-93857」は、「SIPプロキシ」に存在するスタックベースのバッファオーバーフローの脆弱性。「SIPプロキシ」を使用するポリシーが設定されている場合、細工したリクエストを送信することで、認証を必要とすることなくリモートから任意のコードを実行されるおそれがある。
