WatchGuard「Fireware OS」に深刻な脆弱性 - 緊急対応を呼びかけ
WatchGuard Technologiesは現地時間2026年8月27日、ファイアウォール製品「Firebox」向けにセキュリティアップデートをリリースした。深刻な脆弱性に対処したもので、早急に対応するよう利用者に呼びかけている。
同社は同日、セキュリティアップデートとなる「Fireware 2026.2.2」「同12.12.2」「同12.5.20」を公開。11件の脆弱性を修正したことを明らかにしている。
11件のうち9件はIKE処理を担う「IKEデーモン（iked）」に関連する脆弱性。細工したIKEメッセージを処理するとバッファオーバーフローや域外メモリの読み込み、二重解放などが生じるおそれがある。
なかでも「CVE-2026-19313」「CVE-2026-19315」「CVE-2026-19318」は、メモリ破壊によるサービス拒否に加え、認証なしに任意コードの実行につながるおそれがある。ただし、「CVE-2026-19318」は、「IKEペイロードの診断ログ」が有効になっている場合に影響を受ける。
また「CVE-2026-13086」は、非推奨となっているMobile Security機能で使用される「epmサービス」に存在する脆弱性。隣接ネットワークの攻撃者が信頼済みインターフェースへアクセスできる場合、認証なしにroot権限で任意のコードを実行できるという。
